Toothache? What you can do here and now
Acute toothache
The best way to ease dental pain is by taking Ibuprofen, which you can buy over the counter under the name Ipren. You can combine it with Panodil to improve the effect.
Recommended dose for adults 3 times a day:
One Ibuprofen/ Ibumetin/Ipren 400- 600 mg
plus
two Panodil 500 mg
Gum and throat pains:
Treat with Klorhexidin (0.1 – 0.2%) 2 to 3 times a day.
Combine with Panodil/ipren or Kodimagnyl as pain relief.
Painful infection
To be treated with penicillin. Must be prescribed by a doctor or dentist. Remember ALWAYS to read the information given with the medication to protect against side effects and allergic reactions

If you have a toothache, or pain around your teeth or in your gums, you should always contact us so we can work out what is causing it. If you use painkillers for a long period of time, you may develop problems which cause greater discomfort in the long run.
