The successful Danish dentist scheme for children has now been expanded so you can choose your child’s dentist yourself.
The same dentist every time
Many people continue to use their municipal school dental clinic, but now you can make your own choice. At PSH TandlægeCenter in Hillerød, we are very happy with the scheme, which means that children see the same dentist every time, and close, safe and trusting contact is established between the child and the dentist. And as the children grow older, they can continue in the same environment.
Almost painless, silent laser treatment – also suitable for children
Modern laser technology makes visiting the dentist a much more pleasant experience for children. In many cases, the dentist’s drill can be replaced by lasers, which are silent and entirely painless. This technique has been used in Danish hospitals for a long time, and in the USA it has been used in dental treatment for years – with great success.
Have the bill paid for you
The Government subsidises 65% of child dental care at their own dentist, and if the child is a member of the insurance company Danmark, which most people are, there’s not much left for you to pay.
